Once you join the Google AdSense program and Google approves your website or blog, you are provided with a small HTML script, which you can paste anywhere on your web page. You can paste the code any number of times and on multiple pages. Google automatically places the most relevant ads from its broad base of advertisers. Google employs several high-tech algorithms to determine the relevance of ads to your content.

Once your web page or blog is submitted and approved, Google will place ads on your website relevant to the content on your web page. If the content of your web page is about internet marketing, Google will serve ads on your web page related to internet marketing.

HOW TO GET WORKING WITH Google AdSense ADS

The following is a step-by-step approach to getting Google AdSense ads up and running on your web page. After creating your web page and adding content, at least 10 articles, go to the Google registration page and sign up.

1. Fill in the URL of your website or blog and all other requested information. Check and fill out or check the little boxes at the bottom of the page and then click submit info.

2. On the next screen, continue if you have a Google account. If it doesn’t, click “create a new Google account” and enter your email address and other information, then click continue.

3. Sign in to your new account. You will receive a message from Google shortly. Open the email and click on the link it contains.

4. Once you have confirmed your email address, you will allow 2-3 days for approval. If you are not approved, you will be notified and told what to do.

5. If you’re approved, sign in to your AdSense account and get your AdSense code. Sign in from your email that was approved.

6. On your AdSense account screen, click “AdSense for content.”

7. Next, click on text and image advertising. Click continue on the bottom page.

8. Select your ad format. In the drop down box select the “160 x 600 wide skyscraper”. Click continue.

9. Skip the “custom channel” selection and click continue.

10. On the next page, highlight your AdSense code and copy it.

11. Now log in to the admin panel of your website or blog. Example “http://www.yourwebsitename.com/wp-admin”

12. Select “presentation” and then “theme editor” in the navigation menu. Select single post” from the theme files.

13. Then find the following line and paste your AdSense code.

14. That’s it.
