Wonder Woman – The fictional superheroine

If you are an avid reader of DC comics, you must be familiar with the Wonder Woman character. She is the warrior princess of the immortal Amazons. The story borrows heavily from the Amazonians in Greek mythology.

Back in her homeland, Wonder Woman is known as Princess Diana of Themyscira. She is the daughter of Queen Hippolyta, the ruler of the immortal Amazons. Legend has it that Diana was the first girl to be born in three thousand years on Paradise Island. His birth was extraordinary because the other inhabitants of the warrior island were not born in the literal sense of the term. They were created by the Greek goddesses by taking out the souls of all women who had been executed by men. Queen Hippolyta was the first soul to reincarnate. Of all the souls of the women who were revived, one was left behind. It was the soul of the unborn daughter of the woman who was killed first. It was prophesied that this soul would be born as Diana to Queen Hippolyta.

Around the second half of the 20th century, the goddesses fulfilled Hippolyta’s wish for a child. He was asked to mold some clay from the shores of Paradise Island into the shape of a girl. Six goddesses from the Greek Pantheon – Demeter, Athena, Artemis, Aphrodite, Hestia, and Hermis – breathed life into the clay structure and each bestowed a unique gift that, together, explains her superior combat and battle abilities.

  • Demeter: super strength

  • Athena: courage and wisdom

  • Artemis: Communion with animals and the heart of a hunter.

  • Aphrodite: Beauty

  • Hestia: Brotherhood with Fire

  • Hermis: the power of flight and speed

Diana grew up among women and sisters in the forest. Although trained to be a warrior, she was not a superhero from the start. He used his powers to address issues of war, death, inequality, and conflict among the Olympian gods. Themyscirian was their primary language, a combination of ancient Greek and Turkish. English was learned only after his arrival in the United States.

When Diana was a pretty young girl, the gods ordered the Amazonians to send an ambassador to Earth. A competition was held to select a suitable emissary. Diana was not allowed to participate. However, he went against his mother, participated in disguise and won the championship. Therefore, she was sent as an emissary to the world of Man.

Their armament
