WOW Paladin Leveling Guide

As one of the strongest and most holy characters in the game, paladins are a popular character whose holy auras allow them to empower everyone around them. These auras are so powerful that you can only have one at a time. Paladins also have the power of protection rooted in them. Giving them great healing and protection spells to cast on both themselves and those around them.

You will face many undead enemies; these enemies are what paladins were designed to kill. Their holy presence gives them additional strength against any of the undead. The only heal class that can wear silver armor, it allows them to also be great tanks and good DPS characters. With all of these aspects, it’s safe to say that paladins are one of the strongest (if not the strongest) character types in the game.

This, along with their two-handed weapon proficiency, grants them high damage, high tanking, and high healing. They are built for defense, capable of taking massive amounts of damage and outlasting their opponents.

If you’re a raider or a player who engages in a lot of PvP battles, you’ll want to seriously consider a paladin. The wide range of abilities gives them a huge advantage. Using both spell damage and melee is the trick to maximizing your paladin’s value.

When you heal others, you have many different spells that will help you heal one or many people at the same time. You’ll want to learn which healing spells are the best as you level up. Use your leveling time wisely; Find what you like to do as a paladin so that when you’re done leveling up, you can focus on what interests you.

One of the highlights of a paladin is the blessing they can bestow on people. Individually, the Paladin can not only grant themselves an Aura, but they can also grant themselves a boon. As you continue to level up, you’ll learn different boons, showing you that there are several different types, all with different stats. The reason for this is that you can use these boons on different characters that are in your party, allowing you to increase their strengths. Simply put, each person who is in a party with a paladin can get a boon that helps them individually. Late game activities like raids and battlegrounds are perfect places to use these boons to their fullest.

With so many spells, you will need to use a large amount of mana to back them up. When you’re raiding or in dungeons, you’ll need a lot of help with your mana regen because you’ll be using up a lot of it very quickly. In the early stages of being a paladin you will have a hard time maintaining your mana, this can be very daunting. Your power is limited by your mana, so you have to be careful how much you use.

Each of the three talent builds is designed for the three specs that make up being a paladin. Retribution is used as DPS Paladin, Holy is used for healing, and Protection is specifically designed for tanking. This makes it easier for you to choose where to put your talent points, it doesn’t allow you to customize your Paladin much. You have limited versatility in building your talent, so it becomes much more automatic than other character types. This is the only way to make it fair for a paladin to have so many different specs.

Many players will tell you that when you level up a paladin you should use Retribution to help you level up, but in fact the Protection talent tree makes leveling up much easier. Yes, you will do a lot more damage when it comes to Retribution, but you will suffer a lot when it comes to mana. Defense and mana are the foundation of protection and will make leveling up easy and fun. When you choose a character’s talent tree, you want to take advantage of their strengths, especially when you’re leveling up.

Being a popular character class, there are plenty of Paladin players who can help you with any questions that may arise. With so much flexibility built into Paladin, you’ll find it hard to get bored. With a small number of ranged spells and extreme mana consumption your biggest problems, paladins are extremely powerful. Beyond that, the sky’s the limit when it comes to the Paladin; this class is a fun and powerful addition to any group.
